Anganwaadi Sowing Machine Project- Part 2

 After seeing the success the employees at Anganwaadi were having with their business, we decided to conduct another round of fundraising to buy them 2 more state-of-the-art sewing machines for them to build their business. The following are the pictures from this project:

Bingo nights to raise funds during the COVID-19 pandemic

Confined to the walls of our home, we all seem to be trying to find ways to entertain ourselves and keep ourselves occupied. After much deliberation on what we could do at Dhyeya to help keep everyone around us optimistic and to bring smiles to those less fortunate, we thought of organising a virtual game of bingo.   Our first round of fundraising was when we called together a small group of friends and family to play the game on the 31st of May, 2020. Two rounds of the game were organised by us and in order to take part, each person had to pay a sum of rupees 200; the money donated by everyone would be used to fund the various projects we undertake. Everyone seemed absolutely enthusiastic about coming together to have a good time and to donate towards a good cause. We had nearly fifteen people come together for our ‘Bingo night’ ,and we were extremely excited about it as it was going to be a new experience for everyone.
