Food distribution to Migrant workers during COVID-19 Pandemic
We all anticipated the arrival of a new year, hoping it would bring us bliss and joy. However, the year 2020 took us all by storm when the global coronavirus pandemic emerged. Even though many people may not have been directly affected by the virus, the lockdown of entire cities has led to economies suffering as a whole, leaving people unemployed and with no source of income. In our city, Bangalore, many individuals do not have enough food and money to sustain themselves, leaving them in a troubled state. Seeing their plight, Dhyeya decided to join a group of young people distributing food and water to the workers present in a colony near Majestic, a locality in Bangalore on the 23rd of May, 2020.We funded the purchase of bananas for the various workers and distributed them among the people.
